Spotted deer is one of the most beautiful animals of India . It can be easily recognizable by spots on their body . Male deers have antlers on their head . Spotted deers are active through the day but activity is high at early mornings and cooler parts of the day
They can be found on hills and plantations around Vizag especially at Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary. Illeagal poaching of spotted deers is very high . It is locally called as " Chukkala jinka "
