Black-winged Kite ( Elanus caeruleus ) has Red Eyes it got its name Black Winged Kite Because as you can see in the pic its Wing is Black in colour can be seen hovering above grassland before dropping to the ground in a parachute like motion , grabbing its prey in a pair of claws . Prefers open and drier lowlands, feeding mostly on mammals but also reptiles and insects.
