Common RedShank (Tringa totanus) is a shore bird ,often seen near water or mudflats.It is an Eurasian wader.Red legs are a distinctive characteristics as are the buff bars on the white rump. The breeding colours are marked by heavier streaks.Usually solitary, it feeds by running around, picking up morsels .
