| Great Egret, Visakhapatnam
Great Egret ( Casmerodius albus ) is a snow white bird with very long s shape neck and yellow beak. It is a more solitary bird than others of the egret family , the Great lives and hunts in deeper waters. Favouring a similar habitat to that of the Grey Heron, it feeds on fish , frog , etc.
