Indian Skittering Frog (Euphlyctis cf. cyanophlyctis) is a commonly found specie belonging to Dicroglossidae family. It us called as skittering frog because it noisily moves on the water when approached or disturbed. It can be commonly seen in the edges of water bodies and barely away from a water body. It has the ability to jump out of water from a floating position. Always seen in an army(group of frogs).

Identification - Big protruding eyes on the upper side, nostril opening on the top, webbed toes and the ability to skip on water surface

IUCN Status- Least Concerned.
