| Intermediate Egret, Visakhapatnam.
Intermediate Egret / Mesophoyx intermedia sexes are alike , they hunt with erect posture . The feathery aigrette in this species hangs only from the front and back, distinguishing it from other Egret. Found at mangrove swamps, tidal creeks, coastal backwaters.
