Scaly-breasted Munia ( Lonchura punctulata ) is small bird flies in flocks that might number half a dozen or so. They can be seen clinging tenaciously to reeds and larger grasses, yet may fly up into trees or into bushes if disturbed. The diet consists of grass seed and similar products, yet may also include insect life.
