Yellow-wattled Lapwing Vanellus malabaricus ) is endemic to Indian Subcontinent . They are dull grey brown with a black cap, yellow legs and a triangular wattle at the base of the beak breast sandy brown , remaining under parts white . Feeds on ants, beetles, caterpillars, other insects.
