Black-rumped Flameback ( Dinopium benghalense ) are mostly found in tree-groves and coconut plantations they are one of the few woodpeckers seen in urban areas feeds on beetles and insects in nooks and crannies of the bark. Also eats food from the ground such as black ants as well as fruit pulp and flower nectar .
