Common Jezebel ( Delias eucharis) is a medium sized butterfly found in area of South and Southeast Asia .
The Wingspan ranges from 6.5 to 8.5 cm . The are nomadic in behavior and are found in variety of environment hill forest gardens . Females are seen flying amongst the trees in search of its food plants , while male are more frequently observed visiting flowers for nectar or mud - puddling .
They rest with its wings closed exhibiting the brilliantly coloured underside .
