Plum-headed parakeet (Psittacula cyanocephala ) males have reddish-plum color head and females have grey colored head.Often found in flocks of 5-8 in well forested areas of Vizag .They fly swiftly , changing directions in flight . They make distinctive calls in flight . They are found in good numbers where there are fruiting trees available.
