Laughing Dove ( Streptopelia senegalensis) is shy bird common in open scrub-land it is found near villages , cultivated area also. can be quite tame, roosting in the eaves of houses, eating seeds and grains picked from ground. The male broods by the day, the female at night . It is often seen singly or in pairs, this dove utters a soft, pleasant sound. It breeds anytime during the year.
